Local + remote across the Northern Rivers

Two services. Two clearly different pathways.

NDIS support coordination
and aged-care navigation.

Choose the service that sounds like your situation. Each pathway explains what we can help organise and what happens next.

NDIS support coordination

Get more practical value from your plan.

Are you looking for someone to help you:

  • Understand what is funded and what choices you have
  • Find and compare support workers, therapists and local providers
  • Review prices, travel, cancellations and service agreements
  • Track your budget so one service does not use too much too quickly
  • Prepare for plan meetings, changes or unexpected problems
  • Build backup options when a provider is unavailable or not a good fit

We explain the options and likely budget impact. You decide what to pursue. We initially support self-managed and plan-managed participants as an unregistered provider.

Aged-care navigation

Understand the pathway before making decisions.

Are you looking for help to arrange or understand:

  • My Aged Care registration, referrals and the next steps
  • Preparation for an aged-care assessment or provider conversation
  • Help at home, personal care, cleaning, meals or gardening
  • Transport, appointments, social connection and respite options
  • Home modifications, mobility aids or safety supports
  • Provider comparisons, fees, service availability and family decisions

We help older people and families make sense of the system, organise questions and compare suitable local options. We do not make the decision for you.

Visit My Aged Care →Developing navigation service. Government-funded care management and funded aged-care services must be delivered through appropriately registered providers. Planstead does not currently claim aged-care provider registration.

NDIS · a better first meeting

Bring the plan.
Leave with direction.

Many people receive a plan without anyone properly explaining how the pieces can work together. That is where we begin.

  1. 1
    We listen first

Your goals, routines, current supports and the things that are not working.

  2. 2
    We make the options visible

Possible supports, provider choices, likely costs, trade-offs and gaps.

  3. 3
    You set the priorities

You choose what to explore, what to change and what to leave alone.

Did you know?

Depending on your plan, you may be able to compare providers, negotiate service agreements, change services, arrange transport, explore therapies, trial equipment, build employment skills or connect with community supports.

These are possibilities to investigate—not automatic entitlements. We check what is relevant before you decide.

The thinking behind Planstead

Commercial discipline,
with a human view.

Our perspective combines business and human resources experience with an understanding of education and development.

Influenced by a Steiner education, we value individual pace, practical creativity and the whole person. The result is structured support that explains rather than overwhelms—and builds confidence rather than dependence.
